Departure

Start by taking the Golden Pass train to Gstaad and then a bus to Glacier 3000. Take a cable car to Glacier du Sex Rouge (2’971 m ≈ 9’747 ft).

Start of Hike

Enjoy activities like walking on the glacier, trying the alpine coaster, or going up to the Peak Walk by Tissot.

Discovery

After descending into the valley, take a detour to Cascade du Dar, an alpine waterfall.

Ascent

Begin the uphill trek, passing by the tiny alpine Lake of Retaud, until you reach Col de Voré pass.

Scenic View

Enjoy the view of Les Diablerets massif and its glaciers.

Continuing 
the Hike

Continue to Lake Arnensee. If time permits, stop by Huus am Arnensee restaurant for their hot berry cake.

Ascend to the Fenêtre d'Arnon mountain pass for a spectacular view of the Alps and Saanenland region

Return

Cross Röstigraben again and proceed to the village of Etivaz and its cheese factory for a tasting. Return to Montreux on the same train.

The cable car tickets for Glacier 3000 are not included in the hike package. Additionally, it's recommended to consider acquiring a Half-Fare or Swiss Travel Pass for transportation.

The hike covers a distance of 18.6 km (11.5 miles) with a total ascent of 909 m (2'982 feet).

The hike leader will plan the itinerary in accordance with the local weather forecast and may adjust the schedule if necessary. Participants should be prepared for potential changes due to weather conditions.

My friends and I had a wonderful time hiking around the Les Diablerets Massif. The instructor was kind enough to modify the experience in such a way so that we were able to enjoy Glacier 3000 as well. He made everyone on the trip feel welcomed and worked with everyone's fitness level. We shared many stories and laughs through out our experience. I definitely recommend any experience with APINA!
