Reserving or engaging in any travel services provided by APINA (referred to as "The Company") establishes a contractual agreement between the participant ("you") and The Company. By doing so, you acknowledge that you have read, comprehended, and consent to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. To make a reservation, you must be at least 18 years old. In all instances, the individual making the reservation affirms and guarantees that all participants have given their consent to, acknowledged, and agreed to adhere to these Terms.
The Company retains the right to modify or revise these Terms at any time before you make a reservation. The Terms in effect at the time of completing a reservation are the ones that govern.
Any payment submitted to The Company is considered complete acceptance of these Terms.

Rates and Terms of Payment
The individual tour price is expressed in Swiss francs as indicated on the price list. All listed prices are exclusive of VAT. Please be aware that prices are subject to modification. The tour price is payable at the time of booking.
Cancellation fees maintained by APINA are designed solely to cover our direct costs associated with amending and/or canceling your reservation. By accessing, browsing, using, and/or completing a reservation through our website, you acknowledge and consent to having read, comprehended, and agreed to be legally bound by the outlined cancellation policy below. A contractual agreement between the customer and APINA is not established until APINA receives full payment and issues a confirmation invoice. The customer initiating the booking accepts these conditions on behalf of all members of their travel party and assumes responsibility for the payment due from the entire party.
All communications pertaining to these terms and conditions, especially requests for the cancellation or amendment of tour arrangements, must originate from the lead traveler of each reservation and be conveyed in writing via email. Subsequent to delivery, any amendment and/or cancellation requires confirmation by APINA before further actions can proceed. In the event that reimbursement is warranted, it will be conducted in accordance with established procedures, processed promptly, and the designated amount will be transferred to the same credit card utilized during the booking. It is important to note that we cannot assume responsibility for delays in the reimbursement's delivery to your account once processed on our end. If the tour was purchased through another vendor, kindly direct refund and/or cancellation requests to the respective vendor. The cancellation policy pertains to the original booking departure date for which the tour has been reserved.
Cancellation fees & charges
Adjusting the number of participants in a booking to a smaller count is treated as a cancellation for the change in the number of participants. Such cancellations are subject to fees outlined below.
As we begin incurring costs once the contract is confirmed, cancellation charges, as detailed below, will be applied from the time we receive written notification of the cancellation:
- For day tours operated by APINA, a minimum of 48 hours' notice of cancellation or amendment before your scheduled tour departure is required for a full refund. No refund will be issued for cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice prior to departure.
- For multi-day tours operated by APINA, a minimum of 21 days' notice of cancellation or amendment before your scheduled tour departure is required for a full refund. Cancellations with less than 21 days’ notice before trip departure will result in a 50% refund of the total tour price. The remaining 50% is non-refundable, representing our direct cost of booking and preparing the tour. No refund will be given for cancellations made with less than 10 days' notice prior to departure.
All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email to info@apina.com and should be sent by the lead traveler.
Please note that this policy applies exclusively to tours operated by APINA. Tours operated by our trusted partners are subject to the cancellation policies of the respective operators.
Alteration of the Itinerary
No additional service charge is applicable for changes made before the tour commences. Nevertheless, any potential additional costs resulting from reservation modifications are the responsibility of the client.
Once the tour has commenced, any supplementary expenses arising from clients' individual changes will be billed accordingly. It is important to note that any service left unused is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.
Prior to commencing your trip, please ensure that your passport is valid, with a minimum validity period of 6 months.
Additionally, it is strongly advised that you verify and adhere to the visa policy of the countries you intend to visit.
It is strongly advisable to acquire travel insurance prior to your trip to mitigate unforeseen losses and damages.
Ensure a thorough review of your flight tickets to comprehend fully the rules and policies of the respective airline companies.
Upon check-in at hotels, guests are required to furnish a valid credit card authorization to secure any potential personal consumption (e.g., laundry) during their stay.
APINA reserves the right to cancel, delay, or reschedule any tour before departure. Should such changes not result from causes beyond our control, as detailed in the Limits on Responsibility section, passengers are entitled to a full refund of all payments made up to that point, should they choose. However, this refund will be reduced by any non-refundable deposits or uncollectible expenses incurred.
In the event of an itinerary alteration, and if you are already booked for that specific trip, APINA will communicate the changes to you. Should you find the alterations unsatisfactory, you have the option to receive a full refund. To qualify for the refund, you must request it within 3 business days after receiving notice of the changes to your trip itinerary from APINA.
APINA reserves the right to cancel, delay, or reschedule any tour prior to departure due to circumstances beyond our control. These circumstances may include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, political unrest, adverse weather conditions, transportation disruptions, or any other unforeseen events that could affect the safety and feasibility of the tour. In such cases, APINA will make reasonable efforts to notify passengers promptly and offer alternatives, if possible. However, APINA shall not be held responsible for any costs, damages, or losses incurred by passengers as a result of such changes. Passengers are advised to obtain travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances and expenses that may arise before, during, or after the tour. APINA shall not be liable for any claims, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of personal injury, illness, death, or any other unforeseen circumstances during the tour. Furthermore, APINA is not responsible for any third-party services or products, including but not limited to accommodations, transportation, and activities, that are not directly provided by APINA. Any issues or disputes arising from these third-party services should be addressed directly to the respective service providers. By booking a tour with APINA, passengers acknowledge and accept these limits on responsibility.
